The NBA trade deadline is in just a few hours (February 18th at 3pm) and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that general manager Daryl Morey is reaching out around the league about trading center Dwight Howard. There’s always been controversy surrounding the “hack-a-shaq” method where teams foul a bad free throw shooter multiple times; it’s usually a big man like DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard and the namesake of the method Shaquille O’Neal. The Houston Rockets employed that method on Wednesday night during their game against the Detroit Pistons. It lead to Andre Drummond missing an NBA record amount of free throws but the Pistons still won.
