Earlier this year, it was confirmed that iLoveMakonnen was no longer signed to Drake’s OVO Sound label. The “Tuesday” singer released a statement thanking Drake and the whole crew for everything they’d done for him, assuring that there was nothing but love in the decision to separate. He was a little less amicable on social media, however. Via Snapchat, Makonnen joked that he was dropped from OVO because it stands for “Overweight Only” and he’d lost weight, while also acting like he couldn’t remember the name of “that dumb ass album with the sky sh*t,” aka Nothing Was The Same. He later assured fans it was just jokes and there’s nothing but love, but apparently Drake didn’t get that memo.
