Prison Riot!! 13 Inmates Hospitalized, 1 Shot!
At a prison in Folsom, California a riot involving 60 inmates ended up in 1 inmate shot and wounded and 13 other inmates sent to the hospital with “stab and slash wounds and head trauma.” Officers at the prison fired six bullets during the riot. Click below to read more. Jason J.

Prison Fire Kills More Than 300 Trapped Inmates And 475 Inmates Escape
Trapped inmates screamed from their cells as a fire swept through a Honduran prison, killing at least 300 inmates. Some 475 people escaped from the prison in the town of Comayagua and 356 are missing and presumed dead. He said 21 people had been injured. Click below to find out more. @WiLMajor
UPDATE: Vybz Kartel Did NOT Escape Prison
Early this morning, the internet ran rampant with a rumor that dancehall star Vybz Kartel had escaped a Jamaican prison, where he’s currently being held for two murder charges, conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana. Texas Inmates Lose Their Lunch As Part of State Cutbacks!!
Since April, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice has scaled back on inmate’s weekend meals to two per day, eliminating lunch. I wonder if the ACLU will intervene with this matter? More details after the jump! Wendy L.
