Michael “Jim” Delligatti, the inventor of Big Mac’s has passed away at 98-years-old. He died in his Pittsburgh home surrounded by his family. Delligatti owned many McDonalds franchises in Pennsylvania. He first thought of the Big Mac in the mid-1960s.


IFWT Celebrates Black History Month: Honoring Benjamin Bradley

Benjamin Bradley was born a slave in 1830 in Maryland. Although it was against the law for a slave to be educated, Bradley was educated by his master’s children. He would develop a skill in mathematics and for engineering. During his teenage years, Bradley began to develop what would become the first ever steam engine. He would eventually hold a job position at the United States Naval Academy were he would further develop the steam engine. Although he was never allowed to patent his work, he was paid and therefore purchased his freedom. Read more about Benjamin Bradley below.


Tech Talk RIP: Inventor Of The eBook Dies At 64

This is sad especially since 64 is such a young age, eBook inventor Michael S. Hart passed away on Sept 6th in his home(no word from what), he’s survived by his mother and brother. Mr. Hart started digitizing books back in the 70’s and started “Project Gutenberg” in hopes of making the world literate! His work spans over 40 years, which has lead to eBooks, which let’s be honest lead to the Tablet revolution which we know today, and it all started because he wanted to share the declaration of Independence with the world!!!
