Erica Kinsman, who is the woman that has accused Jameis Winston of rape, has decided to step out from the shadows and stop being anonymous and speak her tale with people actually knowing who she is. Prior to her deciding to do this, we only knew there was a woman saying she was raped and she once attended school there. Other than that everything was anonymous. She decided to tell her story in a documentary titled “The Hunting Ground”. The film also includes experts on the subject of campus rape, supporters of victims’ rights and others who identify as the victims of on-campus sexual assault.

Just yesterday reports stated that FSU quarterback Jameis Winston was leaning towards staying with the Seminoles and foregoing the NFL draft this year. His father then released a statement saying that the decision would be made after the championship game between Ohio St. and Oregon. Well now his father says that Winston is indeed leaving FSU and declaring for the NFL draft this year.

Despite almost being undefeated for another season, Jameis Winston didn’t have the best year. FSU was demolished in the semifinal game against Oregon and won’t be playing in the National Championship next week and Winston’s name has been in the media for a multitude of off-the-field antics that could leave scouts unwilling to take a chance on him. Winston is considering foregoing the NFL Draft this year and staying at FSU.

This was a low class move by a bunch of Oregon players and you can believe they will face some discipline for it. After the Ducks gave Florida State a beatdown they will remember forever, winning 59-20, some Oregon players decided to remind Jameis Winston about his rape accusations and turned the famous Florida State “Seminole Chop” into a new theme song. The ironic thing here is Oregon’s own athletic department is not without rape claims as a woman said she was raped by players from the school’s basketball team.
