(Photos) NFL: No One Bids on Jay Cutler Autographed Football at Charity Auction

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler isn’t very popular in Chicago but this is still pretty sad.  Cutler autographed a football for a charity auction to raise money for the Anti-Cruelty Society.  The football had a starting bid of $100 and despite the good cause it had no takers.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is having an especially rough season.  The Bears are currently 5-9 at the bottom of the NFC North.  Cutler has currently thrown 28 touchdowns along with a league-leading 18 interceptions and a 89.5 QBR.  What makes things worse is this comes off the Bears giving Cutler a seven-year, $126 million contract extension with $54 million guaranteed.  Of course given all this, fans and analysts are all calling for Cutler to be cut but one TV station took it too far.

The Chicago Bears had a terrible showing on Monday Night Football as the New Orleans Saints beat them 31-15.  Quarterback Jay Cutler was particularly horrible throwing three interceptions and going 17-for-31 for 194 yards.  Following the game Cutler sat down for his usual press conference, prepared to be killed by the Chicago media but there was one problem, no one was there…
