On Drake’s “Jodeci Freestyle” he released about a month back, J. Cole raps, “I’m artistic, you n*ggas is autistic. Retarded.” This didn’t go over well with the autism community at all, and they promptly launched a campaign against the rapper and the song. After Cole issued a very sincere, heartfelt apology yesterday, Drake comes forth today with one of his own as well, being that it was his song at the end of the day. See what Drizzy said below.

I’m on the in-between with this one…I have a brother who was born with a mental disability, and people born as such should not be mocked by any means, but then again there’s that “freedom of expression” thing as well. I guess J. Cole went about this situation in the most positive manner that he could. After the release of, Drake’s, “Jodeci Freestyle” featuring J. Cole, many spoke out. “I’m undoubtedly the hottest and that’s just me bein’ modest/ Go check the numbers dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you ni**as is autistic, retarded,” is what Cole rhymed and not only did he have the autistic community coming for him, but actress, Holly Robinson Peete – who has an autistic son – spoke out.
