Joe Francis Sentenced To 9 Months In Jail

“Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis has just been sentenced to 270 days in jail for attacking a woman at his home back in 2011. He allegedly hoke-slammed her head into his tile floor, and ultimately was convicted on 5 charges: 1 for assault, 3 counts of false imprisonment, and 1 count of dissuading a witness from reporting. He’s also been sentenced to 36 months probation and has been ordered to complete a Level 3 Anger Management course, as well as 1 year of psychological counseling at a rate of 1 session per week.


Uh-Oh! A Sex Tape About To Leak From Who?!

Talk about irony. “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis may have his own personal sex tape leaked, featuring himself with longtime girlfriend Abbey Wilson. (Fun fact: Abbey won the GGW “Search for the Hottest Girl in America” contest back in 2012.) According to Joe, the footage was taken off of Abbey’s stolen iPad and he’s desperately trying to stop its release. “It is not only unfortunate, but it is a crime,” Joe’s lawyer said of the incident. “As such, this office will take all necessary steps to determine who in fact has done this and who is attempting to distribute the video.” Somehow I have a feeling this is going to surface anyway…and Joe will make a profit. You know how it goes.

“Girls Gone Wild” has gone bankrupt and forced to file for Chapter 11 reorganization, but don’t worry…it’s not going anywhere! They promise there’s no problem with the company and they just have to reorganize and come up with a plan to handle all of its debts. In a statement, they reassured their loving followers that their move is just “like American Airlines and General Motors having sought reorganization under Chapter 11.” As for the founder Joe Francis, he’s still as rich as ever.
