Meek Mill Calls Out Kendrick Lamar Before They Share The Same Stage This Weekend

Meek Mill and Kendrick Lamar have been at “odds” since August, when Kendrick name-dropped Meek and some of his rap peers in “Control.” Meek responded on wax a couple of weeks later, which resulted in Kendrick calling Meek out, live and direct on stage in the city he claimed the throne to, NYC. Meek, who was in the same town, replied on Twitter, but thankfully nothing more escalated from this. Today, however, Meek began gearing up for Friday night, when both rappers will share the stage at Philadelphia radio station Power 99’s annual concert, Powerhouse. Wonder what’s going to go down, especially because this is Meek’s hometown! Check out Meek’s tweets in the gallery and keep it locked to IFWT for updates!

When Kanye West revealed the dates for his Yeezus tour with Kendrick Lamar, many were upset (and surprised, since he calls himself the “King of NY” these days) to find out that Kendrick wouldn’t be at any of the NY stops. However, Yeezy did promise “special guests” for New York, and they’ve now been announced: and one includes Kendrick! LOL! Find out the others below.

Fabolous Speaks On Not Responding To Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” Verse

Brooklyn native Fabolous came to mind first after hearing Kendrick Lamar claim the “King of New York” title on “Control.” Fab was quick to come at Weezy’s neck on “So NY” after he made an anti-New York statement, but why didn’t he hop on the mic and come back at Kendrick for disrespecting his city? Fabolous was quick to stir up controversy via his Twitter account when he tweeted “Any studios open yet?” after he heard the track but still hasn’t put anything out. Hit the jump and find out what Fab had to say about not responding….yet.
