NBA: Klay Thompson On Why Lebron And The Cavs Are “Childish”

image via: youtube The rivalry between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors is turning into one of the better ones in years. The fact both teams have so much star power and there is such a high level of skill on the floor when they play, automatically makes it the best matchup of the season in the NBA. Add to the fact they are on pace to face off in the Finals for a third straight season and it only intensifies what everything means.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors gave us a Christmas present yesterday with the game of the season and a possible NBA Finals preview.  These two teams have battled each other in the last two championships, but they gave us a reminder of why we want the trilogy.  In the Cavs 109-108 win, LeBron James clocked in a double-double of 31 points, and 13 rebounds, along with four assists, and Kyrie Irving hit the game-winner to finish with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists, but Richard Jefferson had a memorable night as well with these two big dunks.


NBA: Klay Thompson Supports Medical Marijuana Not Recreational; Draymond Says It’s Better Than a Pill

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr admitted to using marijuana while dealing with chronic back pain.  Kerr got surgery on his back and missed 43 games during the Warriors historic 73-9 season.  Since Kerr’s admission, reporters of course asked his players about their stance on the drug.

  It looks like we have two flags on the play here.  Klay Thompson opened this NBA season with a shooting slump that sent trade rumors into overdrive.  He’s since gotten himself back on track, and the Golden State Warriors are clicking on all cylinders.  So what changed?

Golden State star Klay Thompson previously said he was ‘not sacrificing sh-t,’ and isn’t changing his game with the addition of Kevin Durant, who left the Oklahoma City Thunder in free agency this summer to join the Warriors.  Despite Thompson’s previous claims, he’s opened the season with a shooting slump and many people are wondering if it had anything to do with the acquisition of Durant.

Earlier this week, ESPN released a story about Draymond Green on how he can both be the reason the Warriors win the championship or could be the reason they don’t achieve the success they feel they should. It focused more on his personality and how it can be a good thing but also rub people in the organization the wrong way at times. Those aren’t the reasons we are talking about it today though. Some quotes in the story had Klay Thompson upset and he wasn’t shy about expressing himself about it.
