When Kobe went down with a torn achilles during the Lakers game against the Warriors a debate brewed as to who should take the blame. Sometimes you just can’t prevent injuries, things happen but that wasn’t Kobe’s first injury of the night. Kobe injured his knee and foot earlier in the game and was already fatigued from playing every minute without resting. Despite each injury looking worse than the one before it, he still remained in the game. So is it Kobe’s fault for refusing to leave the game or is it D’Antoni’s fault for not forcing Kobe to sit?
