The not so eco-friendly city of Santa Monica has issued a fine of $25,000 a day to owners of a 100-year-old eucalyptus tree. Faith and Harry Rumack have until September 15th to chop the tree down or face fines from $5,000 to $25,000 a day. Down goes timber. Click below for more.
