NBA: LaMarcus Aldridge Says it’s Wrong for Warriors to Have 4 All-Stars & Spurs Have 1

The Golden State Warriors have four players selected to play in the 2017 NBA All-Star game.  They have two starters, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, and two reserves, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.  The San Antonio Spurs only have one player chosen and that’s Kawhi Leonard, a starter for the Western Conference. LaMarcus Aldridge – who is a five-time All-Star and wasn’t chosen this year – thinks it’s wrong for Golden State to have four All-Stars to San Antonio’s one when the Spurs are only four games behind.

LaMarcus Aldridge was supposed to be the biggest acquisition of the summer after he chose the San Antonio Spurs over the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and his former team, the Portland Trail Blazers.  Aldridge is averaging 15.6 ppg and 8.7 rpg and the Spurs are doing pretty well with a 38-7 record and the 2nd seed in the Western Conference, but Aldridge hasn’t quite made the splash that was expected.  Things got particularly bad on Monday night during the Spurs 120-90 blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors.  Aldridge finished with just five points on 2/9 shooting from the field, three rebounds and three turnovers.  As per usual, fans went IN on social media and today Aldridge’s Twitter account was no more.

Seriously, how hard is it to find a correct picture of someone when you are reporting about them. CNN apparently needs employees who don’t think all black men look alike after they ran a story about Lamar Odom but used a picture of LaMarcus Aldridge the entire time.

NBA: LaMarcus Aldridge Already Sounds Like He Misses Being With The Blazers

Did LaMarcus Aldridge make a huge mistake leaving the Portland Trailblazers for the San Antonio Spurs?? Basketball fans will say hell no but for Aldridge himself, he seems like he is already wondering if he made the wrong decision.

(Video) NBA: LaMarcus Aldridge Says He Is Building A House Just For His Sneakers

LaMarcus Aldridge left some money on the table to leave Portland and sign with the San Antonio Spurs. The way he tells it though, it doesn’t seem the extra millions he walked away from will be a problem because he clearly has money to burn. Aldridge, in an interview with Slam Magazine that will release later this month, he says his new home in Dallas was built with a spot for sneaker storage but it’s full already. So he now plans on doing something crazy and building another house JUST for his kicks. Rich people problems.
