Basketball Twitter did a collective “What?!” on Monday night when the Los Angeles Clippers revealed their new mascot Chuck the Condor.  1. The name Clippers is for the sailing ships, what the hell does a Condor have to do with that? 2. The bird looked bizarre, like a low budget cartoon bird on speed.  Congratulations Clippers, you’ve provided an array of jokes for Basketball Twitter.

The NBA trade deadline is approaching and there’s been a lot of rumblings about possible deals for Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin.  Now we all know GM’s and presidents often lie but Doc Rivers continues to reiterate that they are NOT trading Griffin.

DeAndre Jordan returned to Dallas Wednesday night as he and the Clippers played the Mavericks and as expected, he didn’t receive a warm welcome.  Numerous fans held up signs clowning his freethrow percentage and comparing it to him not keeping his word.  As you know, Jordan took free agency by storm this past summer when he made an agreement to join the Mavericks then later changed his mind and decided to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.


NBA: Mark Cuban Says He Saved All His Texts From DeAndre Jordan & Will Reveal Them At a Later Date

Tonight DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers will be in Dallas to take on the Mavericks and Jordan is surely to receive a harsh welcome.  It’s his first time playing there since spurning the Mavericks and Mark Cuban after agreeing to sign with the team then backing out and changing his mind, instead deciding to return to the Clippers.  Cuban hasn’t hid his feelings toward Jordan, often showing that he’s still upset and bitter.  In fact, Cuban says he saved all the messages from Jordan the infamous night, the Clippers “held him hostage in his home”.
