New Malware Discoverd in Google Play

A new host of malware was found in the Google Play Store. The malware has been downloaded between 2 and 9 million times by Android Users. The malware in which they are calling “BadNews,” was inside 32 different apps from 4 separate developer accounts.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is seriously urging those of you using Java software to disable it! Homeland security says there is vulnerability in the Oracle’s programming platform. Apple has already disabled Java for Mac users to avoid any issues. In the statement released by the department, “Java 7 Update 10 and earlier contain an unspecified vulnerability that can allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system.” The vulnerability could make it easier for hackers to commit identity thefts as well as set up computers for cyber attacks. Tech Talk Info: Google’s Play Store Has 100k Suspicious Apps

  After Google announced that Android 4.2 well be the safest update that Android has ever seen.  The update may come right on time as a study done says 100k apps in Google’s play store maybe suspect.  As in suspect they mean “ more than a quarter of the apps can access email and contacts unbeknown to the phone user, which is of great concern when these devices are used in the workplace.” Yungjohnnybravo x TatWZA

T-Moible is planning to install anti-malware apps on future Android devices since a recent study revealed that Android devices are more likely to get malware viruses.  Most recently Android users had a malware scare with 2 viruses floating around  calledLoozfon” and “FinFisher.  T-Mobile wants it users to be malware free.
