It feels like 2011 all over again! That year, Rick Ross signed his flagship artists Meek Mill and Wale to his MMG imprint right around the same time, and it was super exciting for fans as they wondered what to expect out of this new hip-hop collective. Now 2 years later, Rozay has added two new artists to the label, joining the existing roster of Meek, Wale, Rockie Fresh, Omarion, Stalley, Triple C’s (Gunplay, Torch and Young Breed) and DJ Scream. Earlier tonight, they revealed the first signee, Fat Trel from Washington D.C. Now it’s time for number 2! Find out who it is below.
False Alarm: There’s No Joint Meek Mill x Wale Mixtape Coming!
Meek Mill and Wale had fans all in a frenzy last night, after taking to their respective Twitters to announce they had a joint mixtape on the way, coming as soon as today. It was a bit of a surprise, considering they’d never mentioned it before, but more importantly, Meek JUST put out Dreamchasers 3 and MMG just put out their compilation. That’s a LOT of music from the Maybach boys to digest! When would they have had the time, and would fans even want THAT much music? There is such thing as over-saturation, you know.
