NBA: Report, Hawks Mike Scott Facing 25 Years In Prison After Arrest For Possession Of Weed & Molly

Mike Scott made the biggest mistake of his life a couple weeks ago and he is going to pay for it severely. Scott was traveling with his younger brother when they were pulled over. After a search of the car, felony amounts of marijuana were found, along with Molly, which is a felony itself. Scott eventually bailed out of jail but his problems are only starting.

Earlier this week, Hawks Mike Scott was arrested after being pulled over in the car with his brother and charged with possession of molly and weed. The Molly is a felony charge and the weight of the weed became a felony charge in itself but Mike didn’t want anything happening to his brother as well so he copped to all the charges.

(Video) NBA: So Lame!! Pacers Paul George May Be Suspended For This?

Last night the Indiana Pacers were able to fight off elimination from the playoffs by beating the Hawks 95-88 in game 6 of their series, which now sets up a crucial and deciding game 7 in Indiana on Saturday. Winning that game may be even harder for the Pacers because there is reports that Paul George could be suspended for the game for walking a few steps onto the court during a small scuffle that broke out between Pacers George Hill and Hawks Mike Scott. They got into a shoving match and no punches were thrown, but cameras caught Paul George taking just a few steps away from the Pacers bench onto the court. NBA rules require all players currently not in the game to remain in the bench area if a fight happens on the court or they are automatically suspended. It is so petty but the NBA has done this before. All of the video shows he never tried to get into the mix on the court, he literally just took 2-3 steps away from the bench, but never left the bench area. Knicks fan as well as Phoenix Suns fans know all about the NBA jerking them out of a possible playoff win with suspensions like this. Hopefully since there is a new commissioner they will look at this with human eyes instead of trying to blame his suspension on policy. Hit the jump.

(Video) NBA: Pacers Tie Hawks In Playoff Series, But Not Before Mike Scott Posterizes Pacers Big Man

In a series where the Indiana Pacers were heavily favored to beat the Atlanta Hawks, maybe even sweep them, the Pacers are thanking the stars that they were able to win game 6 in Atlanta last night and force a deciding game 7 back in Indy. Game 6 was a great back and forth game and the Hawks may of missed their chance to pull off a historical upset in the series. It wasn’t all bad for the Hawks though. Just the fact they are this deep in the series is a win for them, but they have a legit shot of stealing game 7 and sending the Pacers home early embarrassed. Speaking of being embarrassed, Hawks Mike Scott threw down the dunk of the series last night when he put Pacers big man Ian Mahinmi on a poster. But it wasn’t enough to overcome David West putting in work for the Pacers to win 95-88. Hit the jump.
