(Photos) Nicki Minaj Responds To Adele’s ‘Monster’ Cover

In case you missed it, Adele slayed Nicki Minaj’s infamous verse off of Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album cut “Monster”, during a Carpool Karaoke car ride session with James Corden. It didn’t take long for the queen of rap to give us her playful input. Hit the jump.

Adele was the latest celebrity to take a drive for ‘Carpool Karaoke with James Corden’. During their drive through London, the ‘Hello’ singer proved to fans that she’s actually a lot more interesting than her music may reveal. After going through a medley of her own records including,”Hello,” “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep,” Adele topped off an already entertaining performance by showing off her rap skills. The songstress admitted that she’s not so great at rapping on her own but with help she can spit a verse or two. Amazingly, Adele was able to keep up and slay Nicki Minaj’s verse on ‘Monster.’ Check it out below.


Future Announces ‘Monster 2’

Future hit a bit of a slump with his spring 2014 album Honest, but after he teamed up with Metro Boomin and DJ Esco last October for his Monster mixtape, the Atlanta entertainer set off a chain of hits, which eventually led to his success with DS2 and What A Time To Be Alive this year. Now just a couple days shy of Monster‘s one-year anniversary, Future has announced via Instagram that its follow-up is on the way. With the above photo, Future simply captioned it with “Monster 2,” and while that doesn’t tell us much – at least we know it’s coming! During his set at Made In America last month, he said he’d be dropping another project by the end of the year, so perhaps this is it! Are you excited?
