Almost everyone can appreciate the God-like baritone voice of Morgan Freeman. The actor was recently tapped to be the latest voice option for the navigation app, WAZE, guiding drivers to their destinations with complete confidence and reassurance. Freeman stopped by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live‘ on Wednesday and revealed the secret to his iconic voice. Kimmel pressed the actor about where he learned to speak with such confidence and poise. “I don’t even know what you mean,” Freeman joked at first. He later added, “I went to school to study how to be an actor. In that school, Los Angeles City College, I had a voice and diction instructor who was very good at his job.” Check it out below.

This is so cool! Starting Monday (February 22) the Waze navigation app will be offering drivers the option to receive their turn-by-turn directions in the voice of Morgan Freeman. The app has previous tapped the voices of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Stephen Colbert but I can’t imagine anything better than the rich voice of Morgan Freeman leading the way. The commands are actually awesome as Freeman say things like “The American people are counting on you to drive” and “It has been an honor to serve your through this mission.” Take a listen below.

Morgan Freeman’s plane blew a tire as he was leaving Clarksdale, Mississippi. The jet made a “controlled forced landing” in Tunica. Morgan was apparently going to shoot a segment for National Geographics, “The Story of God.”


Man Accused Of Brutally Murdering Morgan Freeman’s Granddaughter Pleads Not Gulity

Lamar Davenport, the man accused for the brutal murder of actor Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter E’Dena Hines has plead not guilty. During Tuesday’s court hearing in Manhattan, Davenport submitted his plea and revealed he’s been on psychiatric hold since her death. Police found Davenport at the scene of the murder, on top of Hines’ body which lay in the middle of the street with the knife still in her chest. Hines suffered 25 stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
