NBA: Knicks beat Nets; Melo is 1st Knick with 3-straight 35 pt games since Bernard King in 1984

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The Knicks knew how badly the Nets wanted to beat them, and for a half New York wasn’t doing anything about it.  A little more effort, and a lot of Carmelo Anthony sent New Jersey home disappointed. Anthony scored 39 points for the second straight game, including the tiebreaking jumper with 1:08 left, and the Knicks rallied from a 16-point deficit for a 120-116 victory on Wednesday night.


NBA: Nets Kris Humphries had 18 pts & career-high 23 reb in OT win vs. Cavs

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Power forward Kris Humphries established a new career-high with 23 rebounds on Wednesday night in the New Jersey Nets’ 98-94 overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Humphries previous career-high was 20 rebounds, set back on March 11 against the Los Angeles Clippers. 


NBA: Bulls top Nets for 8th straight; Bulls longest win streak in 6 yrs & 1/2 game ahead of Celtics for best in East

And the streaking New Jersey Nets just couldn’t keep up. Rose scored 21 points and the Bulls extended their longest winning streak in six years to eight games by holding the Nets to a season-low point total in an 84-73 victory Thursday night.


NBA: Carmelo Anthony addresses Amare Stoudemire text & Nets
