MLB: Tim Tebow Signs Minor League Contract With New York Mets

Tim Tebow did not get a first class flight to major league baseball as some complained, he’ll have to work his way up and it won’t be easy.  Eight days after working out in front of 28 MLB teams, Tebow will sign a minor league deal with the New York Mets, the team announced on Thursday.

The New York Mets put up a tough fight in Game 1 of the World Series against the Kansas City Royals. Game 2 was a blowout in favor of the Royals and Game 3 was the exact opposite, a blowout for the Mets. No one knew what to expect for Game 4, but in order to stay in it, the Mets definitely needed to take the W. Unfortunately, after missing basic plays, the Mets fell to the Royals, 5-3.

Most fans thought it was a wrap, as it is way harder for baseball players to come back from a 2-0 start in a 7-game series. Last night, the Mets showed otherwise as they defeated the Royals in Game 3 at Citi Field.
