Hm, Andre 3000 Says The “Pink Matter” Remix Was Not An Outkast Project!?

Fans were ecstatic when they found out Outkast collaborated on Frank Ocean’s record “Pink Matter”, but it looks like fans were mislead. After hearing rumors of Outkast reuniting, it looks like everyone jumped the gun because Andre 3000 discussed Big Boi’s verse and said it wasn’t a project that they worked on together. I guess that makes sense considering Andre’s verse was on Channel Orange and Big Boi recorded it after it’s release, but still! Click below to see what he had to say. Melissa

(Video) Big Boi Beats Around The Bush About Outkast Reuniting

During his sit-down with Huff Post Live about politics, Big Boi expresses his feelings towards Andre 3000 stating, “That’s my best friend. Our kids play together. We’re just not joined at the hip the way everyone wants us to be.” The host asked Big Boi, when would Outkast be reuniting or coming out with another album. He simply replied, “When you see him sitting right next to me, where this pillow is, then you’ll know.” Well of course we’ll have it figured out by then. I think that this duo is letting things build up. Because the people want the two to link up again so badly, when they come out it’s going to be HUGE. Big Boi also mentions something about the two connecting on the Frank Ocean joint named, “Pink Matter.” It was just something that he was holding off on because, “I didn’t want to do a commercial release on somebody else’s album,” BB throws in. Let’s just hope we’ll get something out of these two soon. It doesn’t matter what it is. Drop down bottom for more. JaaiR (JR)

(Video) Big Boi Talks Andre 3000’s “Sorry” Verse

During his feature on T.I.’s song “Sorry,” Andre 3000 addresses an apology to his Outkast partner Big Boi. Andre 3K tells his former rap partner that he’s sorry for being awkward and a whole bunch of things. Big Boi had addressed the lyrics with Hot 97 saying that Andre should apologize for not wanting to do shows for a million a night. Big Boi also spoke on the song lyrics at T.I.’s  listening party for his album Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. It’s sad that the two of them have to take separate media platforms to express themselves to each other. I’m still hopeful that one day the two of them will come together and gives fans some new Outkast music. For now, read the “Sorry” lyrics and see what Big Boi said below. Julie A.
