(Video) NBA: Draymond Clowns Paul Pierce For Trying To Be Like Kobe, Pierce Fires Back After The Game

image via: twitter It didn’t take long last night for players on the Warriors and Clippers to remind us they aren’t big fans of each other. The Warriors defeated the Clippers last night by a score of 123-113, thanks in part to a 50 point third quarter from the Warriors but there were plenty of side stories as well.

NBA: Draymond Green Rips Paul Pierce & Others For Criticizing Kevin Durant’s Decision

Draymond Green is tired of all the criticism Kevin Durant has received since becoming his teammate and fired back yesterday at those who have been talking too much. You already know how it goes. Everyone from sports media to barbershops to just your circle of friends has mentioned back in the day star players would never join forces like that, or people questioning KD’s competitive drive in general for joining a team that just beat him in the playoffs. Paul Pierce has been one of those people talking since the decision was announced and earlier this week he talked about it again during an appearance on SiriusXM NBA radio, where it was clear he must have forgotten he won his only title thanks to a superteam.

NBA: Paul Pierce Says There’s Definitely 3 Superteams: Clippers, Knicks & Warriors

While many think the Los Angeles Clippers have no chance against the Golden State Warriors, Clippers coach Doc Rivers says they can go up against anybody and they don’t see a gap between them and the Warriors.  Rivers was the coach of one of the earlier superteams, the Boston Celtics; Paul Pierce was a part of that Celtics Big 3 along with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett.  Now Pierce says the Clippers are a superteam as well.

(Video) NBA: Paul Pierce Announces This Upcoming Season Will Be His Last

The NBA is going to look a lot different as we’re losing some of our most beloved stars.  Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett all retired, making last season their final NBA season; now Paul Pierce has announced that he’s hanging up his jersey as well, but he’s giving us one more year.

(Video) NBA: Clippers Re-enact Paul Pierce’s Stabbing During Player Intros in His Return to Boston

On September 25, 2000 back when Paul Pierce was still a member of the Celtics, he was stabbed 11 times in the face, neck and back while at a nightclub in Boston.  As you know Pierce recovered and was able to continue his long NBA career.  He recently indicated that this may be his last season and on Wednesday night in what could be his last game in Boston, Pierce and his Clippers teammates decided to re-enact the stabbing during their player intros.

(Video) NBA: Brandon Knight Puts Paul Pierce On The Floor With This Crossover

This crossover may have looked like it was just on accident at first but I believe Brandon Knight knew what he was doing. As the old man Paul Pierce tried to guard him, Knight dribbled the ball slight off his foot. At that point it looks like he tried to let Pierce think he could get it first, before snatching his heart and ankles by finishing the play.
