Fat Jew Says Says He Will “Never Again” Post Something Without Attribution Following Plagiarism Controversy

It’s been an ongoing debate this week revolving around Instagram sensation ‘The Fat Jew’ and his lack of attribution on the hilarious memes he posts. Things heated up further after, Josh Ostrovsky b.k.a ‘The Fat Jew’ was signed to one of the most prestigious talent agencies in Hollywood, Creative Artists Agency. After being publicly shamed by comedians in the industry Ostrovsky is now speaking out and apologizing for his mistakes. Read more below.


‘The Fat Jew’ Slammed For Plagiarism After Landing A Deal With Comedy Central

Instagram sensation ‘The Fat Jew’ is on his way to becoming a true celebrity, and what makes for a better celebrity then a little bit of drama and controversy. The Fat Jew, who’s real name is Josh Ostrovsky was named one of the “most influential people on the Internet” by TIME this year, he’s been making waves with his hilarious IG account (@TheFatJewish) which he has over 5.6 million followers, as well as a book deal, promotional deal with big names like Burger King as well as his very own Beats 1 station. Recently, he’s been under attack for stealing jokes and marketing them as his own. Read more below.


Ice Cube’s Film Company Being Sued Over “Lottery Ticket”!!

In the past decade Ice Cube has probably put out more movies than singles, it makes sense financially but one of his pictures has apparently been plagiarized. Franklin White, an author, filed the suit against Cube Vision, Warner Bros. Pictures, Alcon Film Fund and Alcon Entertainment in Atlanta federal court. White’s book, “The First Round Lottery Pick” was about a young basketball player who instantly became rich and the problems that arise with it. White claims the film and the book have 44 identical incidents, just missing the basketball component, forcing him to pursue legal action. The lawsuit does not list Ice Cube personally but his company will have to fight this out in court. We will keep you posted on any updates.


Usher Sued For Alleged Plagiarism

Songwriter Ernest Lee Straughter is pressing charges against Usher claiming that the crooner stole his song. Straughter has filed suit with in a California federal court and a judge has deemed that there is enough evidence to go through with the case. Straughter is claiming that Usher’s smash hit “Burn” is a replica of his 1998 song “Reasons.” Read more about the case after the jump. @Julie1205
