The Roots To Executive Produce Broadway Play ‘Hamilton’
Billboard has the exclusive announcement that Atlantic Records will release Hamilton (Original Broadway Cast Recording) this fall and will be executive produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter of The Roots. Pre-order will be available on Aug. 7 via all digital retailers.

Two-9 Rapper Says Drake’s “6 God” Beat Was Originally His, But The Producer Says Otherwise
Last week, Two-9 rapper, Jace took to Twitter to let it be known that Drake’s now popular “6 God” as well as the “I’m Tellin” beats originally belonged to him. He followed up the, “Real 6ix god boy” tweet with samples of his unfinished version of the song, however, “6 God” producer, Syk Sense says that Jace never have claims on the beat. “I don’t know why Jace put it on Twitter like that, because I was in the studio the night he did it and we had a conversation. I said, ‘Don’t put it out there that Drake stole it, because he didn’t,’” Syk told AllHipHop. “Drake had that beat first.”

2015 should be an interesting year for music as many artists that are on breaks will use that as their year to re-emerge. Ginuwine took to his Instagram to tell his ans that he will be releasing a new album in 2015 with Timbaland providing the production. According to the photos he posted the album will be titled “Same Ol G”. Right now there is not an exact release date. Check the gallery for the photos!

French has been boasting for some time now about this track that he has gotten Kanye to produce for him. Today we have more to be excited about as we get the features and the title of the song. There is currently no release date for the track but we can expect it to be called “Gucci Mane,” and to feature Lil’ Wayne and the Boss Rick Ross, with Kanye on the productions. Should we be amped for this?
