Young Thug’s record deal situation has been a topic of convo for some time, as he’s had multiple affiliations with labels since his start in the game, but none have quite been confirmed by the ATL rapper. Recently, however, Kevin Liles revealed that he had signed Young Thug to 300, a new label that was launched by himself and fellow industry execs Lyor Cohen and Todd Moscowitz. But last night on the red carpet at the BET Awards with his manager Birdman, Thugga managed to make it confusing once again. Check out what he told MTV below!


Kid Rapper Chris Miles Signs Multi-Million Dollar Rap Deal!

Some people spend their whole life trying to get a record deal but luckily for 15-year-old Chris Miles, he got it in the bag! The kid rapper got himself a nice ol’ deal with Warner/Chappell that’s giving him the chance to write and rap on as many as five albums. PLUS, he’s getting an advance for $182,500 for the first album that’s released (at 15, that’s serious $$.) If the albums do well, Mils could be receiving $1.5 million plus royalties. Young Thug’s Label Situation Finally Revealed

Young Thug is on fire right now, but there has been tons of speculation as to who’s behind the “Stoner” rapper. Though he’s strongly affiliated to YMCMB through Birdman’s management, he’s not actually signed to them, and there’s also his affiliation and potential deal with Gucci Mane’s 1017 imprint. However, the rumors have been cleared up – and he’s not even signed to either label! In a recent interview with Revolt TV, Kevin Liles revealed that he has signed Young Thug to 300, a new label that was launched by industry execs Lyor Cohen, Todd Moscowitz and Kevin Liles. Let’s see what he does with such a strong backing!
