Lil Jon might not ever want to turn down, but apparently he doesn’t want to pay up either. He got work done from multiple home renovation companies on his 4-bedroom home in Georgia that he paid $1.2 million for back in 2005. For whatever reason, he has yet to cut any checks to any of the companies who helped fix up his crib. It is a total of three companies and they are saying he owes $22K in total – which to Lil Jon isn’t anything.
Statue Of Liberty To Close For Year Long Renovations
The National Parks Service has announced that it will be shutting down the Statue of Liberty October 28 for at least one year. The Statue, whose interior was closed for a few years following the 9/11 attacks, will be shut down to renovate the interior. Liberty and Ellis Islands will both still be open but the Statue will be closed and at some points unable to been seen. This year will mark the Statue’s 125th anniversary and the NPS plans on having the Statue back open by it’s 126th anniversary.
