According to a report, Chris Paul was definitely flexing his muscles with the Clippers organization just like he is in the picture for this story. This is crazy, but as a star player, sometimes you have to show that you have some control over the team as well. NBA: Report, Marcus Camby Signs 1 Year Deal with Rockets
Marcus Camby is once again back in the NBA, and this time I have to say I am surprised. After barely playing last year for the Knicks, and then being traded to the Toronto Raptors at the end of June, I thought it was over for him. In my opinion he is pretty washed up, and his body has shown to be very frail over the past few years. The Rockets however, think different and offered him a 1 year contract for the minimum of $1.4 million. With Dwight Howard now there, and Omar Asik backing him up, I doubt Camby will see much playing time, so making $1.4 million to just chill doesn’t sound bad at all. At least he will be part of another competitive team. He was also considering the Bulls & Heat. If he went to Miami, he might of gotten more playing time, but then again, that team seems all set as well. Won’t be surprised if after the season he finally retires.
