NBA: Kendrick Perkins Says Russell Westbrook Can’t Match Rajon Rondo

The young Oklahoma City Thunder team has continued to improve season after season.  However there’s been a lot of controversy about the roles of the players mainly Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.  Many felt Westbrook wasn’t playing the role of a point guard, taking way more shots instead of passing them to Durant.  Well according to the Thunder organization outsiders aren’t the only ones criticizing Westbrook, they also have a problem with Kendrick Perkins treatment of him.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl While some NBA players decided to use their time to play overseas, others have decided to go back to school.  Milwaukee Bucks forward Luc Mbah a Moute has decided to use his free time to complete his studies at UCLA with fellow Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love.  Other players hitting the books include: Cleveland Cavaliers guard Baron Davis; Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook; and New Orleans Hornets forward Trevor Ariza. NBA: Thunder Russell Westbrook got triple-double (23 pts, 10 reb, 10 ast) in win vs. Hawks

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder finished off a dazzling 2010 that featured a rise into the upper echelon of the NBA and then stirred up some bad blood with the Atlanta Hawks just in time for the new year. Durant hit a season-high five 3-pointers and scored 33 points and Westbrook riled up the Hawks by topping off a triple-double with his 10th assist in the final seconds of the Thunder’s 103-94 victory on Friday night.
