Granted you’re not a total f–k up, it’s pretty easy to get another job in pro sports once you’re already in there.  The coaching business in professional sports is like a game of musical chairs with everyone moving around until there’s no spots left.  Dave Joerger and the Memphis Grizzlies parted ways after he reportedly was seeking permission to interview with other teams for the second time in three years.  The Kings were among those teams and things progressed quickly after he was fired.

The challenging temperament that can have coaches, teammates and fans oscillating between love and extreme frustration.  Rondo was guided through that by teammates such as Kevin Garnett and coach Doc Rivers, now Rondo wants to pay that forward to Cousins.


NBA: DeMarcus Cousins Says He’ll Kidnap Rajon Rondo To Make Sure He Re-signs With Kings

Though there were some doubts, but Rajon Rondo’s $9.5 million, one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings ended up being a steal.  Unfortunately the deal didn’t provide the Kings with a more certain ability to retain the star point guard.
