Find Out How Much Chris Brown and Pusha T Are Expected To Sell This Week!

It comes as no surprise, but Adele is number one once again this week on the Billboard 200. 25 moved another 825k units, making it the biggest selling album released in the U.S. since her last album, 2011’s 21. As for debuts, August Alsina’s This Thing Called Life came in at around 43k units at number 12, while R. Kelly’s The Buffet entered with approximately 37k units at number 16. Looking forward to next week, the two big debuts will be from Chris Brown and Pusha T. For Chris’ Royalty, he’s looking at 150-160k, which will likely give him the #2 spot (behind Adele.) As for Push’s Darkest Before Dawn, he’s looking at around 40-45k. In the meantime, check out this week’s top 10 on the Billboard 200 below!

Find Out How Much August Alsina & R. Kelly Are Expected To Sell This Week!

Is it a bad time for R&B right now? As rap albums like DS2, What A Time To Be Alive, Fetty Wap’s debut and more have done great numbers in 2015, Ty Dolla $ign’s Free TC and Jeremih’s Late Nights didn’t fare so well, and it doesn’t look like August Alsina or R. Kelly will either. What gives? Early sales forecasts have August Alsina moving 35-40k units of his sophomore effort This Thing Called Life, which pales in comparison to the 67k his debut did in 2014. R. Kelly’s The Buffet sees the same story, as it’s on pace for 32-37k, while his 2013 release did 133k. The final numbers will be in this weekend, but they’re not going to move too far from the estimates. Sheesh! Let us know your thoughts on what the problem could be!

First Week Sales Projections For MGK, Joe Budden & The Game Are In!

This past Friday, Machine Gun Kelly, Joe Budden and The Game all released new albums, although Game’s was basically just a part 2 of his release the week prior. Game did a double disc for his new album The Documentary 2, but instead broke the release up into 2 weeks, and dubbed this one The Documentary 2.5. In the coming weeks, he will release a hard copy with both discs in the packaging. Early forecasts are now in, and it looks like Game and MGK are neck-in-neck for the top spot on the Hip-Hop chart on Billboard. (Demi Lovato and Pentatonix are going to take the lead on the overall chart.) Both General Admission and The Documentary 2.5 are on pace to sell around 45-50k units, while Joe’s All Love Lost is looking to move around 15-18k. Let us know your thoughts on the numbers in the comments!
