If word around town is correct, we may be watching Beyoncé grace the stage at this year’s Grammy Awards in a tribute to the film Selma, according to a release from Billboard. “Billboard is hearing that Beyonce will perform as part of a tribute to Selma during the telecast,” Billboard reported, noting that reps for the Recording Academy and Bey did not return requests for confirmation. “Common and John Legend — who are behind the Oscar-nominated Selma song “Glory” — are already announced as performers” This would be amazing if so! Guess we’ll have to tune in on Sunday to find out!

Civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton is speaking up against the lack of diversity of the Oscar nominations. He says that him or his colleagues at the National Action Network might stage ‘actions’ in protest before or during the Academy Awards. Rev.
