(Video) Texas Lawyer Killed In Shootout With Police!
An attorney, Michael Schmidt, was shot and killed by police on Thursday. Schmidt called the police to report a burglary at his home. When responding officers arrived, the lawyer barricaded himself in the hallway of his luxury apartment building and began to fire shots at the cops. Authorities do not know what caused Schmidt to engage in a shoot out, but say he appeared to be mentally altered before getting fatally shot. To see news footage of this story, click below.
Breaking: 2 Shot Dead, 1 Injured In Shooting At North Carolina’s Wingate University
North Carolina’s Wingate University is currently on lockdown, after two people were shot dead and one injured near the campus. The victims were found at a location along East Wilson Street which runs parallel to the school, and it is not yet known if they are students. The entire university was put on lockdown at 6:17pm, as members of Union County Sheriff’s Office arrived to comb the area for the gunman or gunmen who have not yet been apprehended. Students are being told to shelter in place until further notice, as well as keep their phones on silent. Our prayers are with everyone and their families!
