If you remember Kurtis Blow was the first from the craft to appear in a soda commercial from the company. This paved the way for luminaries such as KRS-One, Heavy D, Kid N’ Play, and a list of others. Now, sprite plans to elongated its special relationship with the movement. As part of the “Obey Your Thirst” campaign, the prolific soda pop provider will release cans featuring Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Rakim, and Drake.

Amanda Barr, from Eastbourne,England bought a 3-liter bottle of Coke from Iceland, her partner Steve Knight poured her a glass, and they claim that they found a huge spider floating on the top. The couple went ahead and measured it and saw that it was just under 5 inches. This is just nasty! A representative from Coke says: “We can understand the distress this incident must have caused. That’s why we have arranged to collect the bottle and spider from her so that we can investigate thoroughly this complaint.” I don’t care how much you think you love this soft drink, you’ll never look at it the same after you see these pictures.#smh Hit the jump then view the gallery for the pictures

I know this is for a good cause and all, but this is really sad. Accepting the “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge” from one of his friends, social media sensation Lil TerRio took on the task as promised…but instead of using ice water like the rest of the world, he used Coca-Cola. Not only is this wasting money, but it’s scary that while the child’s weight continues to be an issue, they decide to use such an unhealthy product to promote a good cause. They’ve exploited this poor kid enough as it is…can we get some better handlers for him? (I would ask for his parents, but I believe at least one parent has been with him on the road and we’re still seeing this, SMH.) Lil TerRio has challenged Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled and Desean Jackson.

A McDonald’s restaurant in Texas made it known that people with saggy pants are NOT welcomed inside. One of the signs on the door of the Micky D’s says “pull your pants up or don’t come in.” Yikes.
