Windows Surface Tablet Officially Labeled A Dud !!!!

Poor Microsoft haven’t been to move any units with its Surface Tablet. So everyone has offically labeled it a dud in the smartphone market. And we could see Microsoft giving the Tablet the R.I.P. treatment real soon. Ars Technica’s Peter Bright wrote nobody wants the device and are avoiding the tablet as much as possible. This might be Microsofts most disappointing product since Windows Vista. “In spite of having all the working parts of Windows 8, however, it can’t (officially) be used to run desktop applications, even if the developers of those applications are willing to recompile for the ARM processor,” Bright writes. “Instead, all applications must come through the Windows Store, and be built using theWinRT API.” Does Windows have a chance in the Tablet market?

Microsoft CFO Says Surface Mini Could Be On The Way

Recently Microsoft CFO Peter Klein suggest that the company could be releasing a 3rd tablet in the near future to get their hands on the emerging smaller tablet market. Before Microsoft jumps the gun and start developing more Tablets they cant sell and get off shelves lets perfect the Tablets they already have on the market. Its pretty useless for them to keep releasing duds to the market, after a while people are going to stop paying attention. The Surface Pro is plagued with problems but yet the coming is ready to move forward with another Tablet. This is what the CFO had to say about the possibly of releasing a smaller tablet to the market “We can have the same core code base driving form factors from four inches all the way up to 27-inch ones and everything in between,” Klein said during his presentation. “So I think we are well set up to respond to demand as we see it. We can deliver a versatile set of experiences across form factors, whether they’re 4-inch, 5-inch, 7-inch, 10-inch or 13-inch.”

Former Microsoft Exec Says Surface Tablet Was A Bad Idea

A former Microsoft exec now believes, the Surface tablet was a bad idea for the company. Besides the fact the company was a year late in tablet game, yeah it was more than a bad idea. People made up their minds they were either rolling with Apple or with an Android. The launch of the device was terrible, their not moving any real units compared to  Apple and Android.  Windows 8 has’nt been a big success turning people away from the device, so the former exec maybe on to something when he says it was a bad idea.“Back in the late 1990s we had our own tablet under development,” he continued. “It never saw the light of day. When I left in 2002 people were talking about social media. We were selling phone software. But we didn’t take advantage of any of that. I’m not a big fan of Facebook (FB). I’m on Facebook, but the program is so confusing and user unfriendly. Its value lies in over 1 billion people using it and the network which runs it. The user investment is immense.”

Microsoft Shoots New Commercial For Surface Tablet Does More Break Dancing, And No One Cared

So Microsoft is looking for another way to promote their product and not give up on their product even though its failing. And note to Microsoft the first round of Surface tablet commercials didn’t pan out well but they think this will good luck to them.

Microsoft’s Surface Pro Comes Up Short Again on Storage

Ok it was rumored that Apple will have a 128 gb Surface Tablet, right before Microsoft launched its Surface Tablet. The specs on the Surface suggests that the Tablet comes with 64gb of storage, unfortunately the device comes with 23 Gb of actual usable storage, WTH Microsoft im paying for 64 but getting less than half. The same goes for the 128 GB model only 83gb is usable. It’s turing out the Surface Pro might be worst than the RT. Im sure people are going to look ito that if they planned on purchasing the tablet.
