Sad news in the college basketball world this morning as legendary University of North Carolina coach, Dean Smith died this morning at age 83. The school said in a statement Sunday from Smith’s family that the Hall of Fame coach died at his home Saturday night. He was with his wife and five children. Smith is partially responsible for the careers of so many NBA players, and obviously most notably, Michael Jordan.
NCAA:(Video) Player Misses Free Throw Because Of Miley Cyrus??
This is just a funny video that happens to work. North Carolina forward James McAdoo was at the free throw line in a tight game against Belmont yesterday. Just as he shoots, a fan screams out the lyrics to Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” and he misses. It is pretty hilarious that you can hear the voice of one specific fan in an arena that big. Especially since it was a home game for UNC. They actually wound up losing by 3. Hit the jump for the video.
