37-year-old Lakeem Keon Scott took and opened fire on a highway in Tennessee. It has been reported that Scott was upset about the recent police shootings around the the world. So far we know he has killed one person and wounded three others. Scott himself was later shot by police.

Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, is currently investigating six colorful nooses that were found hanging on a tree. A lot of the students felt as though this was a hate symbol that could have resembled lynching.

An 11-year-old boy in Tennessee has been convicted of first degree murder in the fatal shooting of his neighbor, 8-year-old Mckayla Dryer. The boy was upset because she would not let him play with her dog, so he went and got his father’s 12 gauge gun and shot the young girl. Mikayla’s mother says he teased her often and she even has even had to report him to the school principal in the past.
