NBA: Reggie Jackson Actually Refused To Play Some Games For OKC Prior To Trade

Sounds like there was more bad blood and frustration between Reggie Jackson and the OKC Thunder than we realized. By now you know he was traded to the Detroit Piston just before the trade deadline Thursday, and on his way out, both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook kinda threw subtle shots at Jackson and it made you wonder why? They seemed like a close unit, but looks can be deceiving. Now we have reports Jackson actually told coach Scott Brooks he wasn’t going to play sometimes because he was upset he wasn’t traded sooner.

As fans we never quite know sometimes just how friendly or non-friendly teammates in sports are with each other. Sure it seems like everything is fine from the outside, but you never know. According to reports, everything in OKC wasn’t too cool regarding Reggie Jackson and some of his now former teammates. There is no doubt trading Jackson was better for everyone involved, but KD & Russell Westbrook kinda threw some shots towards him which leads you to believe there were other reasons behind the trade besides just basketball.

NBA: Russell Westbrook Gives The Best Answer Ever Regarding Why He Won’t Do Dunk Contest!

Everyone can agree the dunk contest during all star weekend has lost some of it’s luster due to the lack of star names taking part in the event and the fact that so many dunks have been done already so, it’s more and more difficult to get creative. With that said, I think we would all agree about wishing Russell Westbrook would take part, with his freakish athleticism and dunking power. We can dream, but Russ makes it clear it will never happen, but his reason is awesome!

(Video) NBA: Kevin Durant To Chris Paul After Jumper, “You’re Down 20 Now Homie”

Chris Paul was definitely crazy for trying to say something after burying a jumper near the Thunder bench. From the second quarter on, OKC basically controlled the game and the Clippers really were never in it from that point on. Still, late in the game CP3 felt justified running his mouth after scoring, which prompted a quick and accurate response from Kevin Durant that Paul really couldn’t say anything back to. I know I am not the only one who has the feeling the Thunder are about to go on a nice run after the all star break.

NBA: Kevin Durant Says Any Player Who Wants His All Star Spot Can Play Him One-On-One For It

When Damian Lillard and DeMarcus Cousins were initially left off the western conference all star team, some people were upset saying they got snubbed and some other players didn’t deserve the spot. The players they were mainly referring to were Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook who both have obvious all star talent, but missed some games due to injury during the first half of the season. Cousins was eventually added by the commissioner, but Lillard was still one of a few deserving players left off. Don’t expect KD to feel too bad about being selected because he knows he is one of the best in the world regardless and issued a challenge to any player who wants his spot.

(Photos) NBA: Russell Westbrook Clowns The Knicks In A Subtle Way

Earlier this week, the Knicks somehow managed to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, although they were missing Kevin Durant for the night, it was still surprising to see the Knicks win. From the start it was obvious OKC really had no desire to play and they never really got in the game. You can count Russell Westbrook as one of the people not impressed with the Knicks victory. After the game he was asked what he thinks of the Knicks and he gave a short answer, but you have to read between the lines to get what he is saying. The Knicks basically ain’t s**t to him!
