Last week, T.I. and Tiny welcomed the seventh child to their household, a beautiful baby girl. At first, the pair kept her name hidden, but upon bringing baby home from the hospital yesterday, they revealed it: Heiress. Together, Tip and Tiny have two other children, King and Major, so they clearly wanted to keep the regal theme going. The name is super cute, but my one issue? Their last name is Harris. Heiress Harris. Yeah… But hey, no one asked for my opinion, and that baby is going to be well taken care of, so Heiress Harris it is!
T.I. Sued For $700,000 For Not Paying Jeweler…For A DECADE!
Aydin & Co., a jeweler in Atlanta, has filed a lawsuit against their customer T.I. for a cool $700k. The company says they’ve made many pieces for Tip over the course of the last 10 years, most recently a 18.5 karat white gold bracelet and a yellow gold rosary in 2014, and he hasn’t paid in full on anything. For Tip’s part, he says the whole claim and the lawsuit are BS. Hmm, seems like this happens often with jewelers and rappers. Perhaps these jewelers need to put things in writing and then there won’t be issues?
T.I. Apologizes For Saying He Wouldn’t Want A Woman To Be President Of The U.S.
Earlier today, T.I.’s interview with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 was posted on the web. As politics became a topic of convo between the Atlanta rapper and the DJ, Tip shared his thoughts on a woman (like Hillary Clinton) running for President:
“Not to be sexist, but I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman. Just because every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. Every other position. But the president, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally and later they make very permanent cemented decisions and then later, it’s kinda like, it didn’t happen or they didn’t mean for it to happen. I sure would hate to just set off a nuke.”
Naturally, this was not taken kindly by the social media world, and almost immediately, Tip has issued an apology for his apathetic statements.
