“Stand Your Ground” – NO – George Zimmerman Will Be Claiming Self Defense At Trial

Mark O’Mara, George Zimmerman’s attorney informed the judge today that the “Stand Your Ground” hearing will not be necessary. No separate hearing will take place and come June of this year, Zimmerman’s defense will be self-defense. O’Mara also wanted the medical records of the female witness that Trayvon Martin was on the phone with during the time of the shooting. The female claims that the reason she didn’t show up to the funeral of Martin was because she was in the hospital. Bubbles burst, because the girl lied – she never was in the hospital. What does her medical records have to do with Zimmerman? This girl being on the phone with Trayvon has to do with why Zimmerman shot the kid? Drop down bottom for more on what’s happening.

(Video) One Year Later, And The March Goes On…Trayvon Martin’s Parents Continue To Speak Out

One year after the death of their son, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, continue to speak out and advocate against gun violence. To a great capacity, they would like all children to know that they can walk the streets and not be afraid to make it to their intended destination. “We (want to) make sure that no other parents have to go through what we have gone through in the last year,” Fulton told CNN’s Piers Morgan. I couldn’t imagine. Fulton and Martin also mention how they are aware that the trial for George Zimmerman is out of their hands. What ever jurors decided, they will be content with that. “We just want to have that trial, and let the jury decide,” she said. “And whatever decision comes out of that, we’re going to accept that. “We may not like it, but we’re going to accept it.” I just hope everything works out. This is getting really out of control. Drop down bottom for more from Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.

IFWT Remembers Trayvon Martin A Year After Killing

A year after the shooting death of an unarmed teenager in central Florida, there is a memorial for him there and now a new police chief which an effort in hopes to improve race relations. Trayvon Martin, 17, was shot on February 26, 2012, a year ago today — as he was walking to his father’s fiancee’s home in a gated communities. The man who killed him, George Zimmerman, 28, neighborhood watch, is set to be tried on June 10. Trayvon Martin’s parents ready to let jury decide fate of son’s killer, but they haven’t stopped fighting. No words can bring him back, we can only pray and hope people will learn from this & may justice be served. RIP young soul, see a remembrance of Trayvon below.

Update: What’s Going On With Trayvon Martin’s Killer’s Trial ???

February 26th will mark the one year anniversary, since neighborhood watchman Geroge Zimmerman shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman has made many attempts to stop the trial, escape the trial and slow it down. The official date for proceedings to begin is scheduled for June 10th, however the defense team is trying to have that pushed back even further. It’s said that they are making an attempt to slow the process down, because they have run out of money. Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda argues that lawyers for George Zimmerman have spent too much time on news media interviews and Internet postings instead of reviewing evidence and preparing their case. After the defense talked to media the other day (about lack of cash flow), the GZDefenseFund.com website had raised $5,200 in less than 24 hours. Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s lawyer, is stating that the prosecution are the one’s who’s holding up the case by withholding evidence. According to O’Mara, the state had sent Trayvon Martin’s cellphone to California for analysis and they have yet to hear any new information on that, ie the agency running the tests and the type of tests being run. EXCUSES MUCH ??? I say they get this show on the road. The facts needs to be laid out for Martin’s family to get complete closure. they should be celebrating his birthday with his joyful memories, not another date to put off. As more information comes in, we’ll let you know. Drop down bottom…
