Sony annonced their PS4 last month, Microsoft is set to announce their next gen console next month. Nintendo’s Wii u is already in stores, but it does’nt seem to have the same hype as the other next gen consoles, are Nintendo’s days as a hardware company over.
Samsung Borrows Wallet From Apple (Video)
Looks like Samsung just borrowed another idea from its rival Apple. Samsung just annouced at MWC its new feature Wallet, which is similar to Apple’s Passbook app for iOS. Just like Passbook, Wallet stores tickets, membership cards, boarding passes and coupons in one easy to access location. Watch the video after break.
Macbook & Windows Laptop Sales Fall During The Holiday Season
Over the Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Thanksgiving Day holiday many retailers offered several sales options from Apple and other Windows based computers. Despite the offers sales fell for both Macs and Windows. Sales fell a combined 7% between November 18th to December 22nd. Even though Microsoft marketed aggressively, their windows 8 products moved in the retail space very slow. Macbooks saw a decline of 6% in the market place. Sales of desktops and laptops may be on the rise due to better smartphones and people becoming more familiar with tablets which are easier to carry than laptops.
