Jeep Pickup Coming in 2012 … “This is super hot!!” – Funk Flex

Adding fuel to the rumormill fire that Jeep is keen to introduce a small pickup based on its ever-popular Wrangler platform is a new report from our reliable friends from that the project has been given the green light. The news comes just after we heard that just such a machine was shown to dealers with a wink-wink, nudge-nudge-style display. According to’s sources, the light-duty hauler would debut in 2012 with a design heavily based on the Jeep Gladiator concept from 2005. To get the necessary length, Jeep is said to be utilizing the four-door Wrangler Unlimited chassis with the deletion of the two aft doors and the addition of a short truck bed. Here’s hoping the final design, if it indeed reaches production, retains the external spare wheel and tire. While we’re wishing, we’ll cast a vote towards a removable hardtop as well. Regardless, this is one of those cases where we feel pretty confident in saying, If you build it, they will come buy. Words by: Jeremy Korzeniewski

Kim Kardashian “Outraged” By Sex Doll Baring Her Likeness … “Why is she surprised?!” – Funk Flex

Kim Kardashian claims she’s been violated by an inflatable sex doll … one that looks suspiciously like her … and even shares her first name — and now the real Kim is out for revenge. It’s all over the “Kinky Kim Filthy Love Doll” — described on the box as a “busty bubble-butt bimbo who’s had more dark meat inside her than a bucket of fried chicken.” For some reason — Kardashian believes the doll is modeled after her — thus violating her right of publicity — and now her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, is on the attack. Holley fired off a strongly worded letter to Pipedream Products, Inc. — the company behind the sex doll — demanding they stop production ASAP before she opens up a big, fat can of lawsuit. But Pipedream, unlike their products, doesn’t plan on just taking this lying down — telling us, “The similarity between the Kinky Kim doll and Ms. Kardashian is purely coincidental.” Credit: TMZ

Possible T.I. Probation Violation

A summons was signed today by a federal judge for Tip to appear back in court. This is in relation to his arrest earlier this month for a controlled substance with wife Tiny while in Los Angeles. As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the summons was also signed by T.I.’s probation officer. Three possible violations were listed: possession, testing positive for opiates, and association with a felon. There has been no date set yet, but there is definitely a possibility T.I. could find himself behind bars once again because he’s still on federal probation for his last arrest in 2009.

FBI Reports Car Thefts At All-Time Low, But So are Recoveries

The Federal Bureau of Investigation reports that car thefts in 2009 were at their lowest level in 20 years. Last year, a total of 794,616 vehicles were stolen from their owners – a 17 percent drop compared to 2008. Without a doubt, those numbers are good news for car owners across the country, but the FBI report isn’t all roses and sunshine. The government agency also says that while theft numbers are down, so is the number of vehicles recovered after they’re stolen. Last year, authorities were able to return just 42 percent of all stolen vehicles. That number marks a 25 percent decline compared to 2008. The reason? Law enforcement says that thieves are getting smarter all the time, and that most acts of vehicle theft are perpetrated by professionals who are skilled at their trade. Experts recommend following the usual tricks to make sure you’re not a victim, including locking your vehicle, keeping valuables out of sight and parking it well-lit areas to make sure your vehicle doesn’t wind up on the short list of those stolen in 2010. Road Race Motorsports creates Platinum Edition Suzuki Kizashi

Road Race Motorsports has given the Suzuki Kizashi not just a boost, but a kick in the pants and elsewhere. Instead of the stock sedan’s 185 horsepower, RRM turbocharged the engine up to 300 hp, adds a sports suspension and sport brakes, along with a choice of bodykits. If 300 ponies is a little more than you’re after, RRM also has a 200-hp package, and the suspension offerings come in Stage 1, 2, and 3. Our own Jeff Glucker drove it this week and wrote that “the carbon bucket seat was not built for my butt and I was half-assing (literally) in the seat. Thankfully, [the RRm Kizashi] was still easy to drive and predictably more fun than the stock model.” Words by Jonathon Ramsey

Brett Favre Reaches Out to Weezy in Rikers

Recently, Young Money President Mack Maine sat down with MTV News and among other things, spoke on how Lil Wayne’s favorite player, Minnesota Vikings’ Brett Favre, reached out to the incarcerated rapper and has him in high spirits. “Brett reached out, and he made sure I told Wayne that,” Mack said in the interview. “That was the first thing [Brett] asked when he got back to camp, really. [Vikings tackle] Bryant McKinnie is one of our friends, B-Mac. [Favre] asked B-Mac, ‘How you been?’ B-Mac answered. And he was like, ‘How’s Wayne?’ That was his second question to B-Mac. Those two are real good friends. He said, ‘Let [Wayne] know I been praying for him and send him my love.’ So I let Wayne know that. He said, ‘You just brightened my spirits up for the rest of the month.’ He was real excited.” Weezy is expected to be released from Rikers Island on November 4th, and I’m sure we’ll catch him in attendance of more than a few games!
