MLB (Report): Yankees Agree To 7-Year Deal with Jacoby Ellsbury (3rd Largest Contract For an OF in History)

Here we go Yankees fans!  Last night the news broke that the Yankees reached a 7-year deal with Jacoby Ellsbury.  I’ve seen mostly a positive reaction to this news (except from Red Sox fans), but some think the deal is too long & paid too much.  Via @SportsCenter, Ellsbury’s deal is reportedly worth more than $142 million (rumor is $153), 3rd largest contract for an OF in MLB history (Matt Kemp, Manny Ramirez). NFL: Browns & Joe Thomas Agree To 7-Year, $84M Extension
