New music by the Wu-Tang Clan. Take a listen to “Necklace” after the jump!
It’s been a back-n-forth situation with the Clan, but fans now have good news coming. Yesterday [October 2], during a press conference at Revolt TV, the Wu-Tang Clan announced the official signing to Warner Bros. and gave a set-in-stone (hopefully) release date for the highly anticipated anniversary album, A Better Tomorrow. Hit the jump for the details.
While at first it was questioned if Raekwon would even be on upcoming album, A Better Tomorrow, due to controversy within the group, now The Chef is saying things are well on their way for the upcoming release of the Wu’s reunion album. Find out what he had to say after the jump!
The Chef Raekwon has taken to Shade 45, with DJ Whoo Kid to discuss the upcoming Wu-Tang album release of ‘A Better Tomorrow’! Raekwon stated that he is “Happy and loves the Wu-Tang fans”; but when it came to any controversy, fans must understand that it’s all ‘business’. Check out the interview below.
Soon! The album is coming soon. There is still no official release date, but with the confirmations from Wu-Tang’s twitter page, we are hopeful that we’ll get a POP-UP release (you know people are doing that nowadays). The clique made the announcement early last year that, A Better Tomorrow would be released mid ’13 – that has came and went. The album is said to be taking a bit longer due to the lack of material from Raekwon. Understandable, the guys have been working on individual projects, but the LP should come QUICK…just wait and see.
