These ain’t Nike’s or any other Air Jordan’s you might be used to, but sneakers MJ wore during his freshman year at UNC fetched about $33,000 at auction this week. The sky blue Converse to match the UNC colors were auctioned off this week along with other sports collectibles. How many pairs of Jordan’s have you ever heard sell for this much? By now the sneakers obviously aren’t in great shape, but Michael did sign them and for being 30 years old they actually don’t look too bad. Definitely a nice piece of sports history to own.
