At first, Chandler Parsons might have been all PC with his comments about DeAndre Jordan backing out of his commitment to the Mavs. As it got late last night though, Parsons started speaking his true feelings about DeAndre and the drama is definitely in full effect.

Yesterday was an epic day on Twitter thanks to DeAndre Jordan. The big man had committed to sign a four-year, $80 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks. He suddenly had a change of heart however and agreed to meet with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Yesterday will go down as one of the most hilarious nights in the NBA offseason. DeAndre Jordan reached out to Doc Rivers and informed him that he made a mistake when he agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks. Rivers along with other members of the Clippers, traveled to Jordan’s house for another meeting and stayed there with him throughout the night until the NBA moratorium was lifted and Jordan was able to re-sign with the team at 12:00 am which he did. While some people thought they were holed up in Jordan’s house trying to convince him to stay with the Clippers, it turns out the meeting was relatively short and they were just hanging out playing cards the rest of the time. They left Mavericks owner Mark Cuban out in the cold, refusing to let him enter the house and Jordan would not answer his phone calls or texts.

The Dallas Mavericks have had issues landing big name free agents such as Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. It appeared things had finally turned around when DeAndre Jordan committed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the team. As you know, Jordan had a change of heart and after a hilarious night of reportedly being held captive, he agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, leaving the Mavericks out in the cold yet again. The Clippers waited around until the first possible chance they could to re-sign DeAndre Jordan in his own home while the Mavs could only hopelessly watch from afar. In the end it worked out for them as they got their man as Jordan agreed to stay in Hollywood and sign a four year deal with the Clippers.

Blake Griffin is trolling so hard right now as reports continue to emerge that the Clippers players, along with coach/GM, Doc Rivers, are virtually holding DeAndre Jordan hostage in his own home in an attempt to block any meetings with Mavs owner Mark Cuban before the midnight deadline on NBA business ends and players can actually sign contracts.
