NFL: Report: Von Miller Didn’t Fail Any Drug Test
Earlier this week it was reported that star Broncos Linebacker Von Miller would be suspended for 4 games for violating the leagues drug policy. There were many conflicting reports at first. Some had Miller failing a test for PED’s, while others were suggesting the failed test was for marijuana and other recreational drugs. Either way that would lead to a suspension, but fans and players might not necessarily look at Miller as bad if the failed test was for recreational drugs rather than PED’s because at least then you couldn’t say he was cheating on the filed. But now new rumors are coming to light that Miller in fact, never failed any test at all. Hit the jump for more.

I am sorry, but this has to be one of the most ignorant dudes in sports. The only thing Josh Brent of the Dallas Cowboys has to do to stay out of jail is not drink alcohol or smoke marijuana. Literally that is all he has to do to be a free man and this dude doesn’t seem to value his freedom. This is the same man who is currently free on $100,000 bond after being charged with Vehicular Manslaughter back in December. He was driving drunk when he lost control of his car and killed his teammate and long time friend Jerry Brown. Prosecutors are now asking his bond be revoked and he be sent back to prison to await his trial. What is the reason you ask? He failed a drug test for marijuana just a few weeks ago. Under normal circumstances, a player failing a drug test, especially a player like Brent who anyone barely knows, wouldn’t even be a big deal or news. But when your alive and breathing and the team that drafted you has stood behind you, but meanwhile someone is dead as a result of your ignorance, things change. Last month he reportedly failed an alcohol test that tests if he has been drinking before he can start his car. NFL: Damn, Mathieu The Honey Badger Will Have To Take 10 Drug Tests A Month?
This is why athletes should not smoke weed. Cause a few minutes of a buzz can affect your future, and the money you can bring in. Arizona Cardinals rookie Tyrann Mathieu, aka the Honey Badger from LSU, signed his contract with the team this week. For a 3rd round pick, the contract is pretty nice. $3 million dollars over four years, not too shabby at all. Just goes to show you what the Cardinals think of his talent. However there is a big stipulation in that contract as well, and Mathieu only has himself to blame. See what it is after the jump.
NCAA: Say What? College Football Star Admits To Failing How Many Drug Test??
Honestly is always a good thing, but in this case Tyrann Mathieu may of just hurt or helped his NFL draft status. The former finalist for the Heisman Trophy and standout player for LSU was kicked out of school and thrown off the team for this past season because he failed a drug test.
