As previously reported, Amanda Bynes is interested in getting into music, and was recently offered a record deal with a hip-hop based label, Chinga Chang Records. It seems that she’s accepted the deal now, and Monday night, they put her in the studio with who is to be the producer of her first single…Wyclef Jean! Come on, ‘Clef! “Wyclef is the perfect producer for Amanda’s first single, because he isn’t only about making records,” an inside source reported. “He’s a humanitarian and politician, so this will not be a typical album. This is something very special. Wyclef is familiar with Amanda’s talent and sound, so it only makes sense to have her sit down with someone of his caliber.” According to the same person, the label is hoping to get a track similar to Wyclef’s work on 2008’s “Sweetest Girl” with Lil Wayne and Akon. Yeah, good luck with that…

Lindsay Lohan has officially checked out of her rehab program at Betty Ford…but it’s not to go home. The actress has transferred to another rehab center…Cliffside in Malibu…and will complete the remainder of her 90-day sentence there. Betty Ford is more for 30-day programs, which Linds completed, so prosecutors approved the new move. 1 month down, 2 to go! Let’s hope this really helps her out!

We all know the wacky behavior Amanda Bynes has been exhibiting for the last year or so, and it’s clearly something singer Drake wants to stay far away from, despite Amanda’s attempts for him to “murder [her] vagina.” (And her consequential disses when he didn’t respond…LOL.) However, one Drake is in her corner…her former Nickelodeon co-star, Drake Bell. The actor keeps in touch with Amanda, and speaking to OK! Magazine recently, said she’s totally fine. “Amanda and I are close…I talk to her every day,” he said to the mag. “She’s a sweetheart. I had lunch with her yesterday, and she’s brilliant. She’s good, and she’s healthy.” However, he hasn’t let her off the hook. He’s definitely asked her about her crazy actions as of late. “I’m like ‘dude, you come off crazy.’ She’s like, ‘I know, but I don’t mean to. I just changed the way I look.’” “Anytime I’ve ever been with Amanda, she’s totally coherent, totally there, totally everything,” he said, adding that he knows she’s not crazy or on drugs. I don’t think I believe that one, but hey! He’s just being a friend!

Our biggest fears are coming true: Amanda Bynes may come out with the rap album that she’s been talking about doing. LOL! Daniel Herman of Chinga Chang Records (uh…what?) reveals he’s offered the troubled actress a deal, with distribution through The Orchard and Sony Entertainment. “The fact that Amanda wants to do hip hop music means that Chinga Chang label is the best place for her to do this, because of my past experience with bringing pop and legitimate hip hop together,” Daniel said in a statement. He also had to throw in a shot: “I think that she’s more gangster than Drake.” LMAO! Would YOU want to hear a hip-hop album from Amanda?
