IFWT Celebrates Cinco De Mayo
Cinco de Mayo was originally a holiday to celebrate “The Day of the Battle of Puebla” in the Puebla state of Mexico. Contrary to popular belief, today is not Mexican Independence Day and in fact Cinco de Mayo is celebrated more in the United States than in Mexico. Happy Cinco de Mayo! Can anyone think of anyone more appropriate to celebrate Denver’s first legal 4/20 celebration than Snoop Lion? Yeah, me either. The ganja master hosted an event at the Fillmore Auditorium on Frida, April 19th, where he screened his documentary “Reincarnated” and had a question and answer session. Afterward, he won the High Times Lifetime Achievement Award, and counted down to 4/20 at midnight. He DJ-ed and blazed with the crowd. Check out pics of this epic night in the gallery.
