President Obama Announces Troops In Iraq Will Be Withdrawn By End Of The Year!

President Obama released an official statement earlier today announcing that all American troops in Iraq will be withdrawn by the end of 2011. Currently there are 41,000 U.S. troops in Iraq and they will all be out of the country by December 31, 2011. President Obama has been promising to withdrawn troops from Iraq since his campaign. We still have no word on whether or not all of the troops will be withdrawn from Afghanistan or not. Read more after the jump. @Julie1205

Hezbollah Leader Military Tribunal Could Happen In The U.S.

The Obama Administration is debating on how to handle the tribunal of Hezbollah leader Ali Mussa Daqduq. The leader of the terrorist group is currently being detailed in Iraq, but the US is considering bring him here and having his military tribunal on US soil. A military commission has not been held on American soil since President Bush had a few 9/11 suspects in the US before they were eventually moved. Iraq Cleric Urges To Stop Attacking US Troops

An anti-American Iraqi Cleric has urged his fellow Iraqis to stop attacking US Troops that are stationed in Iraq. Currently 45,000 U.S. forces are stationed in Iraq and the withdrawal of troops has already begun. The cleric believes that if Iraqis stopped attacking US troops they would completely leave. @Julie1205
